This playful trailer introduces the new expansion pack that is in development: the intrduction of water physics. I think the trailer is really fun, and reminds me of why I like the game so much. The ship's captain looking down at the waterless crag below his ship, or the sackboy in shark costume sitting around... I love it.

I have conversations with my bosses every now and again where I lament not keeping an old Bernoulli disc I found in off-site data storage for a previous employer, and then they one-up me by talking about the Crays they used to use or whatever. Anyway, we do tend to take storage capacity of modern devices for granted, though I argue that these sorts of conversations, including that shown here, don't take into account the size of modern DATA either... We wouldn't have been able to imagine a 4Gb m4v file back in the 90s...

I was definitely that kid. On more than one occasion, when I didn't know wtf, I wrote literally over every square inch of the test with rambling essays blending fact, fiction and limerick. I did draw once or twice.

See, that's pretty rad, when you think about it. Kind of amateur hour, since most automatic weapons fire these days is in shorter, targeted bursts instead of laying down suppressive fire all the time, but hey, if you were distracted texting or drinking coffee or whatever, and it made it harder to keep track of your ammo while gunning down innocent bike riders fromt he seat of your SUV, this could totally be useful.

This parody film of the Twilight stuff is awesome. I love the ongoing 3-wolf-tee-shirt meme thats been going since what, two years now? And of course, there's Aubrey Plaza, from Parks and Rec... who also happened to be pretty good in Funny People... and also, I just learned, was one of the people who brought entire computers into Starbucks in that 2008 prank , to use the wifi.

Anyway...

I mean, never mind the factoid from that Cracked article on mystery foods what not are foods, which scared me silly regarding popcorn butter flavoring that I already don't use... THIS is one artificial additive I'm outraged I never had a chance to use YET!
