I haven't watched Nathan Fillion's current show, but many seem to swear by it.
I kind of like that this starts out as a fairly generic noir slash softcore tease and ends with a note about characterization. Pretty clever.

I wasn't really aware of this actress until I saw this great old timey retro pin-up, and did the research. She's in She's Out of My League. Well, otherwise unremarkable to me. But old timey? Yes.

I was cold on her casting initially, because I wanted a real Slavic actress. Then I was warm based on the trailer. Then I was cool based on learning, and hearing, her going accentless (at least in part, since we don't know if she's Russian but a SHIELD agent or a SHIELD agent that's a Russian spy, or whatever) but I'm warming again anyway.
I love the COSTUME design here. They did a great job...
