Arrrrrr Green-Beans!
27/07/10

Wifebot(tm) rolls my eyes when i put on 'Party in my Tummy', a Yo Gabba Gabba clip starring Brobee, in a psychedelic feeding frenzy. Sure, my wee Z loves it, but wifebot(tm) contends I love it more. She's right.
How could I pass up a Pirate Brobee though?
It's for the baby.

SNL 3% SILA: Pirate Shipping Error

I enjoyed this more in concept than in execution, but the premise is: this is what happens when a Fed Ex error sends toy weapons to the real pirates, and pirate AK-47s to the Pirates of the Caribbean street performers at Disneyland. Mostly, it's just fun to see Kristin Wiig firing full auto on 'fat tourists with their sandles and sunburns and churros' while chomping on a cigar.

I kind of tease my wifebot(tm) about buying stuff for the botlet that is either a little premature or a little indulgent. She's a retail therapy person. It can get excessive. But the worst she's done is indoor-ballet slipper shoes for babies barely learning to walk... in SILVER... at least thats only a year away or whatever.
But I couldn't help myself on this one. It's going to be in the garage for what, three years or something? But eventually, it will have a use. And when it does, it will be most awesome. Any R3 members nearby who want roles as sharks or besieged cruise ship captains, let a bot know sometime in the next 36 months, and we'll set it up.
Just so we're clear, there's water IN it, and water cannons connected to garden hoses, and inflated ball cannon launchers as well, and it seats two to three crew. It'll be a miracle if I can even just resist mounting this on a cargo bike for a critical mass before then.

Pirates for Jesus
05/05/09

"This album is chock-full of piping childen’s voices singing about being Christian pirates and long-winded sermons about not spending all your money at the proverbial circus and missing the train to Heavenville and such. The best part is a surly puppet sidekick "Sharkey" who likes to refer to the good Cap’n as “fatso” and is guilty of the eighth and ninth deadly sins of interrupting and backtalking"
